Setting Auto-Updates on iPad
Keeping track of iOS updates across multiple devices can be a challenge, but this setting simplifies the process. By enabling auto-update on iOS, you can always have the latest version of SolutionView downloaded to your device and access any new features added to the recent version.
(The version on the device can be found in the menu of the SolutionView app; below the logout button will be the version, e.g., Version 2.0.00.)
Step 1
Open the system settings on your iPad.
Step 2
Now, on the settings page, either scroll to the App Store or Search for the App Store as shown below and tap “App Store.”
Step 3
Now, on the “App Store” page, you can toggle on the automatic update settings to trigger updates to be automatically added instead of installed manually.
Now that it is enabled, your device, when it’s either connected to wifi or cellular, it will check if your app is currently on the most up-to-date version. This will correct any bugs from a prior version or come filled with new features that weren’t available in the last version.
