SolutionView 2.0.14 Release Notes
Summary
In this release, there are several enhancements to capabilities within forms, functionality that allows you to modify how quantities display to your customers, and a new feature that allows you to have products that will become included at no cost when associated with a product has a similar offering. Lastly, for companies that use SolutionView integrated with improveit 360, when the appointment is completed, a marketing opportunity is created for the prospect.
New Form Automation Field, "Form Automation"
With the addition of thew new field type, you will now have the ability through a set of checkboxes on a form to automate forms in both the overview and inspect sections. A common use-case for this for companies is using the field as a way to add one of the many services they offer. For example, if you offered roofing, siding, windows, and other exterior work. You could use this field to list out those services, and if you selected roofing, you could automate an customer interview specific to roofing and any roofing inspection forms with one selection on this new field type.
Include products at no cost when specific products are added
A new setting has been added to products where you can associate products. In the product setup, if you include products, those products will be be marked as included and will not counted towards the project total. A common use-case is if you sell a service that bundles products. As you are creating projects in SolutionView, you may want to add those products individually to show the cost if they are sold seperately, and now, with this new setting – when you add the your bundle, it will automatically include those associated products. This new feature removes the potential for double charging and also provides a tool to communicate to the customer that they get more when adding the bundle.
Hide Quantity from Customer
A new setting for a product that allows you to change the label for how quantity is displayed to the customer. Common use-cases would be for products that are calculated in a way that isn't clear to the customer or for products that quoted based on an estimate.
With this setting, you may want to take the estimate quantity and simply display a quantity of 1.
Marketing Opportunity creation in Improveit 360
The marketing opportunity object in Improveit 360 is a common way for companies to sort completed appointments into buckets that different departments in the company use for follow-up and communication after the initial sales appointment has been ran. SolutionView now creates this object when the appointment is completed.
