This release introduces a series of powerful enhancements aimed at improving usability, efficiency, and customer engagement.

Below, you’ll find each enhancement listed that includes a summary, and either a video or images to illustrate the enhancements.

New Drawing Screen Enhancements

The drawing screen in SolutionView Tablet has undergone a full redesign to improve usability and offer greater flexibility.

Highlights

  • Enhanced Navigation: Access the drawing screen via side navigation or quick nav.
  • Improved Project Visibility: Preview individual project drawings directly within the appointment.
  • Independent Drawings per Project: Unsync projects from the base drawing to import unique artwork for each project.
  • Add Additional Drawings: Create multiple drawings per project for detailed views, enabling better product placement and customer understanding.

These enhancements provide more control over drawings, making it easier to deliver clear, professional project proposals.

New Enhanced Document Signing Experience

The latest release introduces a streamlined document signing process designed to improve efficiency for sales reps and enhance transparency for customers.

Highlights

  • Brand New UI and Experience: Redesigned from the ground up for improved usability and visibility to the customer where they are signing.
  • Merged PDF Signing: All documents (including standard and company PDFs) are now presented as a single merged PDF, eliminating the need to open each document separately.
  • In-PDF Signature Guidance: Visual markers and a “Next Field” button guide users through each required signature or initial field.
  • Signature / Initial Reuse: Customers can reuse their initial and signatures across the document.
  • Sales Rep Signatures: Company representatives sign directly within the same flow, with specific signature areas highlighted.
  • Reset Option: Users can clear and re-sign if changes are needed before final submission.

This enhanced experience simplifies the signing process, making it more intuitive for both sales reps and customers while providing a smoother and more professional proposal presentation.

“Send Portal Link” Functionality to Send Customer Portal during Appointment

This release introduces the ability to send the customer portal link at any point during an appointment, offering greater flexibility and enhancing communication.

Highlights

  • Send Portal Link Anytime: The portal link can now be sent from the “More” section within an appointment, not just at the end.
  • Real-Time Updates: Information entered during the appointment, such as photos, inspection details, and interviews, is instantly reflected on the customer portal.
  • Pre-Appointment Access: Send the link ahead of the appointment to give customers access to introductory presentations and initial information.
  • Controlled Finalization: Once the appointment is marked as pending or sold, further updates to the portal will only be sent when you “Send to Cloud”.

This new functionality ensures better transparency and keeps customers informed throughout the sales process, creating a more seamless and professional experience.

These enhancements allow sales reps to create cleaner, more focused presentations that align with customer needs and preferences, improving clarity and confidence during appointments.

Inspection Enhancements

Updated Photos Icon and Grid View

  • The photo capture and solutions icons found at the top of the forms now includes a counter – stating how many photos and solutions have been included.
  • A new grid view displays all photos added to an inspection form after photos have been added, making it easier to review images during inspections or continue to add additional photos.

“More” Menu Enhancements

Reorganized Features

Items previously found at the bottom of the left navigation have been consolidated into a new “More” folder. The new menu includes Exit MeetingFilesResources, and the “Send Portal Link” feature. This reorganization improves navigation clarity and prevents overlap in the primary menu.

Download Screen Update

A refreshed design that now displays the download size and estimated time remaining for better user experience.

Customize Product Quantity Display on Contract PDF

Use Inspection Form Fields for Product Quantity

See above, the quantity reads as “See Included Areas”, but within the included sub-areas it uses details from the inspection.

This functionality is configurable, and is used for contractors that want to give more transparency around the specified areas for the product vs. product estimations.

To include this functionality, please request placement by your SolutionView contact.

Consistency and Usability Enhancements

  • Adjusted title sizes to match other section titles for visual consistency.
