SolutionView 2.3.20 Release Notes
The latest version of SolutionView is here, and it brings several major enhancements designed to elevate the experience for the teams who serve homeowners every day.
Redefined Appointment Screen
Customer History
If your company uses Salesforce or Improveit 360, you’ll now see a customer’s full history directly within the appointment screen. When accessing an appointment from the calendar, all familiar tools remain on the left side of the screen, while a new right-hand panel displays a summarized view of customer activity. Dive deeper into notes, photos, files, and event history—all in one place.
For companies not utilizing the supported CRMs, the tabs will include the details from the existing appointment.
Send Customer Portal Link
You can now send the Customer Portal before or during an appointment—no need to wait until the appointment is complete. This gives customers early access to helpful information like company and contact details, optional pre-appointment resources, and even in-progress photos.
Note: Product and pricing details won’t appear in the portal until the appointment is finalized.
This option is only available if your company has the Customer Portal feature enabled.
On The Way Text Messaging
Stay connected with homeowners leading up to the appointment with three flexible messaging options:
• On The Way Messages: Sent as soon as a user is en route.
• Automated ETA Messages: Triggered when a user’s estimated arrival reaches a specific threshold.
• Delayed Messages: Pre-written templates to notify customers if the user is running behind.
Result Appointment
Once a project has been selected and the appointment completed, users can now result the appointment directly from the appointment screen. This allows for quick updates to project details and a seamless handoff to the cloud.
Redefined Customer Portal
New Layout, Optimized for Mobile
The Customer Portal has been completely redesigned for a cleaner, mobile-friendly experience. Each project’s details now live on its own page, making it easy for customers to explore project drawings, solutions, selected products, financing options, and related documents. All photos, presentations, and inspection details are still accessible with an updated layout.
Sales Rep Details
If your reps have a photo, title, bio, or contact info in SolutionView Admin, customers will now see that information displayed in the portal—adding a more personal, trustworthy touch to the experience.
Appointment Resources
Educational resources can now be added to the Customer Portal via the Admin site. Use these to provide value to customers even before a product is presented—whether it’s appointment preparation tips, service overviews, or issue-based knowledge.
Make Payment Button
If configured, companies can add a payment collection URL to the portal setup. Once a customer signs their project, a Make Payment button appears—creating a smooth handoff to payment collection.
E-Sign Automation
When a customer signs a project in the Customer Portal, it’s now automatically queued in SolutionView Admin. After approval, the project details will update your CRM—whether you’re using Salesforce or Improveit 360.
Inside Sales on Web
Edit Projects in SolutionView Admin
Inside sales teams can now update proposals directly from the SolutionView Admin website. Just like in the app, you can walk through and edit details of a project and result the appointment as Sold or Pending. Once finalized, details will automatically sync with Salesforce or Improveit 360.
